SVG to PNG Converter

Export SVG vector graphics as pixel-perfect PNG images at whatever size you need – 256 px for an icon or 4000 px for print. Transparency is preserved and the rendering is done by your browser's own vector engine, so the result matches exactly what you see on screen.

Vector to raster, explained

An SVG is a set of drawing instructions – shapes, curves, text – that can scale to any size without blurring. A PNG is a fixed grid of pixels. Converting means rendering the vector at a specific width; anything larger will look soft, so always render at the largest size you will actually need. Because rendering happens at conversion time, you can make a 5000-pixel PNG from a 10 KB SVG with perfect edges.

Where SVG to PNG is needed

Social media platforms, email clients, marketplaces and most document editors do not accept SVG uploads. Favicons, app icons, presentation slides and print-ready logos all need PNG. This tool keeps transparency, so your logo drops onto any background cleanly.

Frequently asked questions

What resolution should I choose?

Type the pixel width you need in the options. 512 or 1024 works for icons and web use; 3000–4000 for print or large banners.

Does it keep the transparent background?

Yes. PNG output preserves transparency exactly as defined in the SVG.

Why does my SVG render blank?

SVGs that reference external images or fonts may not load them in the sandboxed renderer. Embed fonts as paths (‘convert to outlines’) in your design tool first.

Can I convert SVG to JPG instead?

Yes – use the general Image Converter and select JPG; transparency will be filled with your chosen background colour.

Is there a size limit?

Output up to 8000 pixels wide is supported.
