The short version

Files you convert with Convert Now are processed inside your web browser. They are never uploaded to, stored on, or seen by our servers. We collect only the anonymous usage statistics and advertising data described below.

1. Your files

All conversion, compression, resizing, cropping, PDF rendering and video encoding is performed locally on your device using JavaScript and WebAssembly. No file content, file name or metadata is transmitted to Convert Now. When you close the page, the data is released from your browser's memory.

2. Information we collect automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) records standard server logs – IP address, browser type, pages requested and timestamps – for security and performance. We may use a privacy-respecting analytics service to understand which tools are used most; this data is aggregated and does not identify you.

3. Cookies and advertising

Convert Now is funded by advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites. You can opt out of personalised advertising at Google Ads Settings or via aboutads.info. Users in the EEA, UK and Switzerland will see a consent prompt before any advertising cookies are set. We do not set cookies for any other purpose.

4. Third-party resources

Some tools load open-source libraries (for example the FFmpeg engine) from a public content delivery network. Those requests contain your IP address and browser details, as any web request does, but never your files.

5. Children

Convert Now is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

6. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you beyond transient server logs, there is nothing for us to export or delete. If you have questions about this policy, contact us.
